Home Sweet 2019 charity sleepover record awareness and fundraising results.

On September 20, 2019 the second Link Housing Home Sweet charity sleepover was held at Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club. The aim was to raise awareness and funds to support those who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless in Sydney.

Beneficiaries

This year the event raised money not only for Burdekin and youth but for Women’s Community Shelters (WCS) and Link Housing Scholarship Program, you can read more about that here.

Thank you

We would like to say a huge, huge thank you to Link Housing and everyone who supported the event. In total, you all raised a whopping $181,914, (Home Sweet 2017 raised $120k and it was our goal to meet that, so well done everyone).

We also wanted to give special thanks to our Ambassador and MC on the night, NSW Wicket Keeper Jay Lenton, who was absolutely amazing.
