From time to time, we have corporate volunteer groups or community volunteers who help us improve and maintain the homes of the young people in our care. Whether it’s painting, repairs, gardening, general refurbishment, or donating furniture, these volunteers are essential in making sure the living spaces are welcoming and safe. What is a donation in-kind?

A donation in-kind also known as an in-kind contribution are non-cash gifts that come in many forms. These can include physical items like donations of furniture, clothes, food, toiletries, and school supplies. They may also be donations of professional services, such as legal advice, property refurbishment, or facility management.

What do we need?

We are always looking for donations in-kind and business service contributions to help provide the essentials that allow the young people in our care to thrive. Currently, we are seeking:

Donating gifts and Christmas gifts

Donating gifts for our young people is always appreciated. Because of the nature of life and young people, we appreciate gift donations in the form of gift cards so that our young people can choose the items they most need.

Gift card donations are extremely thoughtful and give young people the freedom to choose something they really want or need. For birthdays, Christmas and for special life events our children and young people get to know that someone has thought of them.

Community Working Bees & Corporate Team Volunteering

Our corporate team volunteer groups and community working bees, for example, can make a huge difference to our work and to the lives of the young people in our care.
